Geno 2 List of Markers with False Positives Results

Although the Geno 2 test is now a thing of the past, there are still many people whose only haplogroup data comes from that test. There have been numerous examples of false positive results from that test which have resulted in an inaccurate haplogroup assignment. Many have been mentioned on this forum in various threads on the Geno 2 test. I thought it would be useful to compile a list of markers for which false positive results have been recorded. Doubtless there are others as well. If anyone knows of any more, please add them to the list. In my opinion anyone who has any of the following markers as a terminal SNP should check to ensure that positive results are recorded for upstream markers. Otherwise they should be considered suspect, and I would recommend an additional SNP test with another testing company.
