If I'm looking at this correctly, this guy comes up L744+

If he is, we might look at this guy as well

Dear Mike,

Any news updates? My line is CTS4466 (South Irish II) just
outside Clan Colla and last summer was shown to be non-Stewart
(DF41-) but with Bruce and Fitz-Alan matches.

Any new subclade tests I should think about taking? Thanks.

Yours ever,

Tim Erwin (42048)

I opened this up because there was a question on another thread. Hopefully, CTS4466/Irish South specialists will have some ideas. I guess we have L270.2. BISDNA also has a major SNP identified but I don't know if it might even be L270.2 An comments?

If you've joined the Yahoo R1b-L21-Project group, you'll periodically see Joe Carroll's excellent compilation of CTS4466 results updated. He and his team have pulled out a lot of useful information on SNPs that are relevant from the Geno2 and Chromo2 tests. With the nine BISDNA locations having been released, these could become testable trough a company like yseq.net. The issue there is that it would seem to be more economical to do Chromo2 testing until there is sufficient data to start making STR predictions for which ones will be positive.
