Dear Members,

We hope that you are all safe and well in the current environment.

After some consideration, the administration has decided to close The Atrium, the only section of Anthrogenica where current affairs of a political, social or religious persuasion was formally permitted.

Said decision followed an assessment of the overall activity of this section, its' relative oversight burden and our desire to maintain the generally amiable, positive and constructive tone that exists throughout the site at large.

We have modified our Terms of Service (ToS) accordingly to reflect this. Specifically, a policy change is now in place, whereby any and all current political and religious discussion is strictly prohibited across Anthrogenica. Details can be found here (https://anthrogenica.com/showthread.php?7-Terms-of-Service-and-Forum-Rules-Update&p=732367&viewfull=1#post732367).

Previously, access to The Atrium was offered as a perk to Subscription Class users from 2016 onwards (Sustainability Model thread (https://anthrogenica.com/showthread.php?7757-Anthrogenica-Sustainability-amp-Your-Support&p=168160&viewfull=1#post168160)). As this section is no longer active, we have merged all Bronze, Silver and Gold Class users who'd opted for access with their non-access contemporaries.

As a gesture of our gratitude, we have just provided all Subscription Class users who'd previously opted for The Atrium access with a complimentary three month extension to their current subscriptions.
For example, if you were an "opt-in" Silver Class user who'd paid in Nov 2020, your subscription will now expire on Feb 2022 instead of Nov 2021.

We hope that complimentary action satisfies all (former) "opt-in" Subscription Class users while we make preparations for a substantive shake-up of the usergroups in the coming weeks and months, which will include a litany of extra features, perks and functionality on our site.

Thank you all for your time and attention.
