Hi all, my Haplo group shows as R1b1a2a1a2a1b3~2 does anyone recognise this I cannot find anything anywhere other numbers attached were R1b-L421 (R1bL433, R1b-L88) my ancestors were believed to be Romany but there was talk of them coming from France, could anyone shed any light on this please, thank you in advance.

I'm not sure what the "~2" means, but IIRC R1b1a2a1a2a1b3 is R-L165 also know as R-S68. The DF27 sub-forum here might be able to give you more information.

From Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haplogroup_R-M269), "It is found in England, Scandinavia, and Scotland (in this country it is mostly found in the Northern Isles and Outer Hebrides). It has been suggested, therefore, that it arrived in the British Isles with Vikings.". The FTDNA L165 project (https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/r-l165-project/about/background) appears to be mostly men who trace to Scotland, with some smaller number from England, "United Kingdom", France, Ireland, and Norway.
