I was doing the 'One-to-many' matches on GEDMatch and I came across some matches that have over 7cm. I was wondering how accurate are these matches and if the estimated generation is accurate?

I wouldn't put much stock in the MRCA calculation for small matches (7cM is still pretty small, geneologically speaking). The matches themselves are pretty accurate. Kind of hard not to be unless their entire system was fraudulent. My dad's phased kit (phased from me and my mom) wound up sharing exactly enough with her to qualify as a 2nd/3rd cousin of hers and in reality he actually is her second cousin. The MRCA estimate was 2.5. So it's pretty good once you're sharing a decent amount with someone likely to be your relative.
