I’ve noticed some of the subclade groupings on the R1a1a and subclades project have titles like:

“...Z282>PF6155>M458>PF7521>CTS11962>L1029>(FGC66323)>YP4647 or ? (BigY strongly needed)”

Does this means the samples have a positive test for that SNP? Or they are suspected to belong to the clade and need an SNP test/Big Y to confirm?

I am not an admin there but i can understand - as i am a long member there - from this that you are certainly under (FGC663 23) and suspected to be YP4647 .. but there is a possibility you are a new subclade you need to do Big Y , SNP will not benefit you as you could be on a new branch not possible to know it unless you do a Big Y , SNP testing only benefit for current branches testing.

Yeah I took the BigY and got placed in a clade downstream from YP4647 once other Big Y results started coming in.

I was asking because there is a kit listed in the group and i want to know if it is SNP tested for YP4647 or has been placed there for some other reason?
