I am an Ashkenazi Jew. I would be grateful for some suggestions as to What calculator on admixture studio is best to show how Middle Eastern/European I am. Eurogenes K13 seems OK but it Italian admixture may fall under East Med so it is slightly confusing. I basically want to know how much of the original Israelite Middle Eastern DNA is with me and how much European admixture there was.

Thank you.

I think that will be hard to figure out

Eastern Mediterranean region encompasses the countries in the east of the Mediterranean Sea, namely Cyprus, Greece, Albania, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Turkey, and Egypt.

There has been a lot mixing between them

Italians have a high amount of Middle Eastern ancestry from the past.
Genetic studies show that many Imperial Romans had Middle Eastern roots.
Genetic studies show that the ancestors of the Greeks, the ancient Minoans and Mycenaeans were genetically related to one another and trace their origins from the ancient people of Anatolia and the Armenian Highlands.
Many Greeks and Jews were living in Italy.
Many Jews were already living in Greece before that.

I think too many people have the notion that Europeans are pure European in general.

Nonsense. Europeans form a tight and pure genetic cluster

That's like if you say that turks or georgians are no pure west asians because they have european ancestry or ethiopians are not pure sub-saharan africans because they have middle eastern ancestry. There is a reason why genetist and specialist in this matter uses genetical clusters. Of course there are borderline populations, but clusters is the best way to determine on which group they belong.
