The SNPs in the title are from my Full Genomes test (batch #5). Private SNPs begin after the F4092+. I have earlier test results from FTDNA. Of particular note is L22-.

What were your results from FTDNA or your kit no.? Are you in the I1 group?

My FTDNA Kit # is B1358. Results = I1, M253, DF29, CTS6364, CTS10028, with L22 being negative.

I am also Z2337+ S6346+ Z9853+, but L22+ and F4092-

Have you tested for any other I1 SNPs below CTS6364 besides L22?

My first testing, quite a few years ago, was with Ethnoancesty (Dr. Wilson). That is where I first learned that I was negative at S142 (aka L22). Later I did various tests with FTDNA and SNP by SNP reached DF29+, then CTS6364+, then CTS10028+ and I confirmed my L22-. Then my FullGenomes arrived and I had FGC2488+, S6346+ and Z9853+ downstream of CTS10028 (aka Z2337). I also have these negative results from FTDNA: Z63 Z58 P303 P259 P15 P109 M72 M227 M21 L69 L39 L233 L22 L211 L161 L160 L1275 L126 and CTS8582.

So then - you and I appear to match all the way down to Z9853+ and do not match at F4092 or L22. It looks like F4092 must be upstream of L22, and I suppose every L22+ has your sequence down to that point. Meanwhile I have split off some where above L22.

Is Eastern Norway the ancestral home for your family?

Do you know of any more F4092+ people?

I'm also S6346+ F4092- but in the L22+ sector. What is the location of Z9853? I can't seem to find any info on it.

The location apparently is 25095052, but nothing comes up for me when I put that in the ISOGG browser. There is apparently one other FullGenomes kit besides mine that is positive for Z9853, and that person is listed as being a L22 person (whereas I am not).

I have only one read at that position, which would indicate that I am derived for it, but who knows with only one read. Another L22+ has 3 reads, all of which are derived. So it may be that both S6346 and Z9853 lie between CTS10028/Z2337 and L22.

Flatiron, have you considered having your results analyzed by YFull and then joining the I1-L22 project? There is a member who is also L22- but appears to be Z2337+ S6346+ Z9853+ F4092+.

I received my YFull analysis several days ago and joined the I1-L22 project yesterday.

Are you YF01467 in the L22 project at YFull?
If so, then it looks like you belong in a new parallell haplogroup to L22.

BTW, I am YF01444 am YFull, pyromatic are you YF01436?

Yes, I am YF01467 at YFull. From the currently existing YFull projects L22 was the only one where I might be able to explore the SNPs upstream of L22 and possibly learn more precisely where I split off from the L22+ people (and maybe obtain a sense of the general time frame when this happened).

I had considered (and temporarily rejected) the idea of just forming a new group for my results.

Thanks for letting me know your YFull number.

PS: Calamus, please run your YFull group Y-Chr browser and compare these positions and you will see what I have been doing in terms of upstream exploration: 22282023, 22361130, 22467126,22242073, 22465424, 22489223, 8576009, 8109742.

Are you able to view positions in the I1-L22 group on YFull by selecting "Y-Browser" from within the group?

22282023 - mixed conflicting results for a Z2337*, L22*, Z74*, and L813*; 3 samples were called ancestral with low numbers of reads; and the rest had no reads at that position.

22361130 - derived in all, so likely equivalent to or more upstream of Z2337.

22467126 - some mixed results and no-calls, appears to equivalent to or upstream of L22, perhaps even Z2337.

22242073 - equivalent to or upstream of Z2337

22465424 - equivalent to or upstream of Z2337

22489223 - lots of no-calls and mixed results but appears equivalent to or upstream of L22, possibly even Z2337

8576009 - equivalent to L22; maybe upstream of L22 and downstream of Z2337

8109742 - downstream of Z2337 defining a branch parallel to L22 (the Z2337+ sample is derived at this position, and all L22+ samples are ancestral)

Per Greg Magoon, my F4092+ is shared by NA20512, who is a R1b person, whereas I am an I-CTS10028+ L22- person. Greg believes I should consider my F4092 to be a private snp.

Does anyone know SNP details for YF01635, reported in recent YFull "news" as being I1a?

Information about kits splitting off the path to L22+:

* Kirk Maxey (PGP5) = CTS6364+ and CTS10028-

* #147 of Chromo2 = CTS10028+ and S6346-

* Flatiron (YF01467) = CTS10028+, S6346+, Z9853+, L22-

Hi,

I just want you all know that there is a new group at Yfull "I-Z2336(xL22,M227)", for the I1-Z2336 subclade except L22 and M227, there are groups for them already. There are a few Swedish kits coming in this area so we thought it was time for a group. Please join!

Kits like YF01467 fit in this group.

/Jakob

Hi I am id: YF02234 new

Still learning this Yfull stuff. My understanding is that this is the preliminary result. My Big-Y came last saturday...

There is a new YFull group with the name I-Z2337(xL22). I-Z2337 is also called CTS10028. All L22+ people have Z2337+. The idea for the new group is to try to sort out where people who are L22- branch apart after Z2337. It would be very helpful in this process to have one or more L22+ people join the new group so that their positions between Z2337 and L22 could be seen. Perhaps Calamus and Pyromatic will join?

I sent my join request; so perhaps my L22+ Z74+ sample will be of use for comparison.

YFull experimental tree 3.7 shows new I-Y13056 under Z2337 (CTS10028). The two persons at I-Y13056 are me (YF01467) and new kit # YF03068. Not certain who the latter is. Someone in Norway. YF02234 remains I-Z2337*. Also downstream of Z2337 is I-L22 and its many, many subparts. YFull says that the split of Z2337 into Y13056 and L22 was 4100 ybp.

Does anyone know how to obtain contact information for a YFull "client"?

By the way, S6346 (in the post title) is said to be unreliable; it is not in the YFull tree. Z9853 (in the post title) is said to be unstable and may be a STR; and F4092 (in the post title) is a STR. Is there a way to amend the title of a posting?
