I got tested as L1c2a1, with one local company refining it to L1c2a1a. As far as i know, my matrilineal lineage lives in northern São Paulo state for quite a while, with this line ending in my great-great-grandmother for now.
The African origins of my mother´s direct line was expected, with one oral tradition claiming that my maternal ancestress was the daughter of an native African slave and a European captain or something like this(but of course, there is no way i can confirm this). Any suggestions?

You can see the country of origin for L1c2a1 samples that have been published in GenBank on Ian Logan's web page (http://www.ianlogan.co.uk/sequences_by_group/l1c2a_genbank_sequences.htm) and check to see if you have any extra mutations that make you a closer match to any of the samples there.

Welcome to the family.

L1c2a1 is definitely a South West / South East Africa Bantu lineage.

There are 2 cases in Rwanda and Burundi on 23andme results, those 2 females have L1c1'2'4'6' with a deeper analysis it may still be something else.

North East Africa bantoue Kenya/Uganda/Tanzania/Rwanda/Burundi have L1c2a1.

According to Guthrie, South East Africa Bantoue and North East Africa bantoue languages ancestors split around regions near Katanga & Zambia border.

There is new genetic study about Bantoue from South East /South West Africa supporting the previous linguistic studies like Guthrie about the split of East Africa/South East Africa bantoue around Zambia.

I would assume that your maternal ancestors originated in Angola which borders Zambia.
