Looking for help in understanding what this means I have alot of Ashkenazi references in the origins sections on ftDNA. AM trying to understand what is my true ethinic back ground is through my mothers line.

Family Tree DNA and 23andMe both go overboard on the subject of Ashkenazim. K1a13 is not an Ashkenazi type. It is European type which is not specific to any ethnicity.
