vanished posts - temporary

Why is it that when I place a post with a link it is visible as I am logged in, but when I log out it disappears, I log in and its there, log out it vanished.........then after about 4 plus hours it stays visible regardless if I am logged in or out.

Is it some type of administration check on the link or ?
