View Full Version : Geno 2.0 Dashboard Now Shows Percentage of Participants Who Share Your Y and mtDNA
My dad's Geno 2.0 dashboard now shows the percentage of participants in Geno 2.0 who share his paternal and maternal haplogroups.
Here's the relevant part of my dad's Geno 2.0 dashboard. How many men have done the Geno 2.0 test?

Your paternal line is far more precise than mine on Geno 2.0. I'm actually DF49*, but they only show me as R-L21. My mother's line is fairly uncommon, though.

Unless there are 90 more little silhouettes of missing people, those graphics are for 10x the percentages displayed in the accompanying text. (2% rather than 0.2%, etc.) I'm not sure why that bothers me, but it sort of does.

You're right. 4.8% appears as 48% on the graphic.

Does anyone know how many men have done the Geno 2.0 test? Or how many people total?

We think >150,000 Geno 2 tests have been processed based upon the counter. In terms of how many men use a guess and assume 60%????

So, if I go conservative and guess 50% of those tests included y-dna, with CTS2501+ at 0.4% of the total participants, that makes about 300 R-CTS2501 men.
Not too shabby.
But where are they all?
