Initial review of PF7589/Z2118 has been completed by the ISOGG contact. It is expected to be recommended for inclusion in the tree based on Big Y, 1000 Genomes Project, and Personal Genomes Project results.

An application for inclusion of CTS6889/S1161 has been prepared with plans to submit it next.

Thanks to all those who tested and provided us the results we needed for this submission.

PF7589/Z2118 has now been formally recommended by the ISOGG reviewer to the ISOGG review committee for inclusion just below L51.

Additionally, an application for CTS6889/S1161 to be included in the ISOGG tree just below PF7589/Z2118 has been reviewed by the ISOGG reviewer and was formally submitted to the ISOGG review committee today.

Both SNPs can be seen on the L51xL11 SNP Tree at www.geneticousins.com/L51xL11/SNPTree.htm .

SNPs PF7589/Z2118 and CTS6889/S1161 are now included in the ISOGG Haplogroup R Tree. Thanks to everyone whose tests made this possible and Bob May for coordinating the ISOGG review in such a responsive way.

Awesome! Thanks to all!

Now to keep working down the tree. :)

Paulie, S1141 is one of the next SNPs downstream from CTS6889. It is now available from YSEQ and FTDNA as an a la carte SNP test. I'll take a look at our case for it next.

Does anyone CTS6889+ have a negative result for S1141 (2836575)?

FTDNA does not typically report on it, but FGC has found it in Big Y results of BAM files. Cornwell and Marsh are prime candidates among those who have done Big Y.

Thanks,
Edwin

CTS11824/PF7592 has now been recommended by the ISOGG reviewer to the ISOGG committee for listing immediately below CTS6889/S1161.

So this line of descent is L51>PF7589/Z2118>CTS6889/S1161>CTS11824/PF7592.

See the L51xL11 SNP Tree at www.geneticousins.com/L51xL11/SNPTree.htm . (Placement of S1141 on the tree is still being investigated.)

In the CTS11824 group, we currently have Westbrooke, Knudsen (Amundson), and Schoenwalder.

CTS11824/PF7592 has now been posted to the ISOGG haplotree.

In addition to Westbrooke, Amundson, and Schoenwalder, there are a number of other L51xL11 surnames listed in the ht35 project that are likely CTS11824+.

Hats off to Edwin for his hard work getting CTS11824/PF7592, PF7589/Z2118 and CTS6889/S1161 placed on the ISOGG tree. So far this summer, the only additions to the ISOGG R-tree have come from the R1b1a2 (P312- U106-) DNA Project (aka ht35 Project) (https://www.familytreedna.com/public/ht35new/).

Also thanks to Bob May, our ISOGG reviewer, for being so responsive to our applications. That's the key...

More excellent news. Many thanks to all. Warms my heart after all these years in HT35 being able to get resolution in our section of our tree. Please let me know if I can help with S1141!!

Paulie, we need a S1141- test result from a CTS6889+ person to get S1141 listed by ISOGG. S1141 is now available a la carte through FTDNA, so this does not require a new sample. We just need someone willing to do the $39 test, so a little recruiting would help.
