FTDNA deep clade

Hello,
I want to test with FTDNA by getting a deep clade test (23andme told me that I'm M35 but it's very general and I want to see if I belong to a more specific subclade). A person I talked to said he tested with Geno 2.0 and was classified as M35, then he tested with FTDNA and was placed in a more specific subclade (V-13), but it has been a while and the tests have changed. So my question is, which test am I supposed to take on FTDNA in order to get the deep clade test?

You have to wait until the "Deep Clade 2.0" test is released. It will consist of SNP panels specific to a person's haplogroup. See http://dna-explained.com/2014/10/15/tenth-annual-family-tree-dna-conference-wrapup/ and do a search for panel.

I take it that you don't want to get the better BigY test.

I don't have a problem with waiting. Will it be an FTDNA product? And when will it be released?

Yes, it will be an FTDNA product. No idea when it is going to be released. I was hoping they were going to provide a date of release at that conference.
