Y-chromosome DNA Citizen Scientist's Person of the Year award - R-L21 Haplogroup

The nominating criteria for TIME's Person of the Year award is given to "a person, couple, group, idea, place, or machine" that has "for better or for worse done the most to influence the events of the year.

I would like to put forth a modifcation for the Y-chromosome DNA Citizen Scientist's Person of the Year award for work done to advance the understanding of what NGS testing results have done for the R-L21 Haplogroup, and thus offer up a Co-Winners of the 2014 Year award to

- Alex R. Williamson AND Michael W. Walsh,

two equally deserving honorees with equal merit helping understand the latest known configuration of the L21 phylogenetic tree.

YES!
Alex's thorough analysis moved me downstream to a branch of z2961 discovered just last year. The branch had to be redefined to more pertinent branching SNPs which were in the rejected calls of the Big-Y test.
Mike's spreadsheets are invaluable to L21 and downstream branches. They allow us to compare our results, and to keep us on pace for ISOGG phylogenetic placement.
