FTDNA has published new time estimates for testing

This official page (https://www.familytreedna.com/learn/testing-process/return-kit-long-will-results-take/) gives the latest estimates of how long a test will take, on the average. The Big Y is now the second-fastest test, after Family Finder.

As of March 11, 2015, current test times are estimated to be:
Family Finder – 4 to 5 weeks

mtDNA – 7 to 9 weeks

Y-DNA – 10 to 12 weeks

Big Y – 6 to 8 weeks

SNPs – 8 to 10 weeks

Family Finder – 3 to 4 weeks
mtDNA – 6 to 8 weeks
Y-DNA – 6 to 8 weeks
Big Y – 8 to 10 weeks

If they cannot deliver, this will only damage their reputation further. Every single tests I ordered at FTDNA had been delayed at least once, some were delayed multiple times. The big Y is the worst one :-(. I simply don't see that they can deliver the big Y results within 6-8 weeks :-).

I had another 4-8 weeks left for my FMS results and randomly got them today.
