View Full Version : Early branching in L513

The largest and most notable early branch of L513 is clearly S5668. However, there are others.

S6365 is a close second to S5668 as it encompasses most of the rest of L513. Unfortunately, at least for some analysts, S6365 is not a nicely behaved/placed SNP. Regardless, there is a definite pattern there, as demonstrated by downstream SNPs, so S6365 is real.

So, L513* seems small, but there are some subclades there that may be larger than we think. I'll outline those as they come up. L513* may not be that small.

Thanks for all the new stuff Mike - it's fascinating. I understand from your post that 5668 is actually older than 6365 - I wasn't aware of that. How is that found out?
