Zdenko Markovic of FTDNA confirms that A-6105 is a third distinct subgroup of Y-4460, which is one of the three main extended groups of CTS-10228 so far identified (the other two are S-17250 and Z-17855). The three subgroups of Y-4460 are thus: A-6105, S-8201, and Y-3118)

Of the four A-6105's known to Zdenko, two are from west Ukraine, one from Latvia (German ethnicity), and one is a Vepsan.

George, do you recommend this SNP for people from the Balkans? My kit YSEQ 1388 is Y4460+, S8201-, Y3118-.

I would if I were you. I notice that in the FTDNA lists there are 13 people who are Y4460+, S8201-, and Y3118-. Three of them are from the Balkans. It's not that expensive and would be very informative one way or the other. I'm not at all an expert of the caliber of L.G.Mayka, but apart from this test I wouldn't know what other SNP would be useful for you at this time. Perhaps he could advise.
