View Full Version : L21 and Celtic languages

Hi All,

A couple of questions:

1. I've been trying (and failing) to find decent sources that clarify the relationship between the P and Q-Celtic languages. Maybe this is because there is no consensus on the matter. Could anyone help me out with this, and/or suggest any good sources on the topic?

2. In Y-genetics, are there patterns which might correspond to the different language communities in the isles? For instance, could the westerly focus of L21 possibly correspond more to Goedelic speakers, and then U152/M253, more general in the isles, to the P-speakers?

I realize these questions are closely connected, and I'd appreciate any thoughts.
