M30 by BritainsDNA

Hi all,

Few months ago, BritainsDNA sent me the report of my MtDNA - M30. Looks like I'm the first customer who got tested with this haplogroup @ BritainsDNA following their letter, certificate and other documentation provided. Since I placed the order in October 2013, it took nearly 19 months to receive their work for MtDNA only.

Here is what I got, I made it as a PDF file and available using this Dropbox weblink

Intriguing. What is haplogroup M doing turning up in Ireland? Do you have any clues from your family history?

For the others, nothing to see with Ireland at all. I've been able to trace the roots to Italy.

What do we know about M30 as far as distribution in populations?
