Coming from far beyond the galaxy, an extremely energetic blast of radio waves has been snared by astronomers lying in wait. Lasting for just a few thousandths of a second, the burst is the first of an enigmatic class of objects to be observed in real-time, astronomers report today in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Let's hope it's not aliens. If we can see them, they can see us. Primitive civilizations never fair well with newcomers.

I think it would be good for us, bring us together against a common threat, perfect excuse to unite humans.

while I appreciate evon's point, the only possible flaw is: if they are super advanced and roll over us like I do to stray ant colonies that start in my yard.

bottom line, when arguably the smartest guy in the world publicly warns us that we might be screwed if aliens showed up, I start to worry a bit too...

It would be bad, more than likely. If they can build something up to 22x the size of Jupiter, they could vaporize us. We would be more primitive to them, than apes to us.

Apes still exist among us however

Soon, it will only be in labs and zoos. No thanks.

Let me put it this way. If there is something that advanced out there, they didn't get there by handing out flowers. They are the military elite of at least that part of the galaxy. No one came to domination by peace. Let's live in reality. We don't want them here.

If they need water and oxygen that has disappeared or become inhospitable on another planet, they would come here. Point is.... we're in the way and potentially offer nothing of value to them.

If we establish a colony on Mars; and discover a microbe that is deadly to man, would we be tempted to eradicate it? "Yeah but that doesn't apply because we may not be threat to visiting aliens"

Cockroaches aren't a direct threat to man but most of us go out of our way to kill them when we see them in our homes. "Yeah but they would be guests in our home/land and they wouldn't have a need to kill us" Tell that to the American Indians.

Just playing devil's advocate.

Well, if hell broke loose, I suppose a few would be spared for this purpose. They could study our species and showcase us back home.

Nothing about public transport..seems we are more advanced still

Letter received by The Black Vault

I was reading about your involvement in getting documents from the NSA concerning UFO’s. Sir, if you want undeiable proof of UFO’s on earth from a government source it is in the video below. Try a FOIA request for this video that was leaked onto youtube.

I can vouch that the following video is 100% real. I am remaining anonymous to avoid government reprisals.
If you ever wanted to truly see how aliens are monitoring or studying us, and witness their technology, this is it.

The video is a black and white infrared recording using a L3 MX15 EOIR camera. The IR video uses back hot, meaning the blacker something is the hotter, or fuller of energy it is. The video was leaked onto youtube because the Federal Agents who recorded it realized the Federal Government was not interested in disclosing it. The video was recorded from the screen of a laptop using a iPhone type device.

Spanish is heard as background noise to distort the leaker’s voices so they are not discovered, so disregard all audio. Lastly, the poster of the video speculates it was recorded from a CBP Blackhawk. In reality it was recorded by a CBP DHC8 turboprop maritime patrol aircraft.

The U.S. Navy confirmed that the USS Kentucky, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine that’s homeported at the Bangor submarine base on the Kitsap Peninsula, conducted a “scheduled, on-going system evaluation test” in the Navy’s Pacific Test Range off the coast of Southern California. The missile was not armed, the Navy said in its statement.”

But seriously, do missiles make these organic waves of light throughout the sky? In these videos, there’s a spiral of blue light surrounding the object as it flies, unlike anything we ever see

I'm utterly amazed with this article. However, I think it's already been disproven. I may be wrong. It would be very cool to have not only confirmed the evidence of extra-terrestrial life, but we have now seen literal space-age technology.

Astronomers have tied the origin of a Fast Radio Burst to a highly magnetized, gas-filled region of space, providing a new hint in the decade-long quest to explain the mysterious radio pulses.
