Fossil U4 map

Hello,

I've made a map comprising locations and timeline of fossil U4 obtained so far, excluding some uncertain cases. I presume that's the first such map. I decided not to distinguish various U4 subclades in a special way (by colouring or pattern), because many samples are obviously in low resolution, therefore being just "U4". Only samples from various archeological timeframes are distinctive from each other.

I'm not sure of absolutely every location, because some places were problematic to find even(!) when I had an access to thesis. I'm not an archeologist, therefore I have no access to most of site locations.
Also, some of the descriptions have only timeline. I will add more information soon.

Every suggestion is most welcome. Some more up to date members - please write about new fossil U4 samples found!

Added one NEW sample - from Roman Age Turkey, for now described as c. 300 AD, Sagalassos (Potters Quarter 4) [KV-164], Roman (Ottoni et al 2016)

NEW sample - from neolithic Romania. 5500-4500 BC, Sultana-Valea Orbului [Su1], Boian culture, neolithic farmer, 16356C (Hervella et al 2015)

A very interesting map, I am U4c2a and am Irish, looking at that map it looks like the Smithfield "Black Death" burial is a pretty close match and that one of my maternal ancestors would have travelled to Ireland sometime pre 1800. The ages on that map give a good indication of how the group spread over time.

Nice update for you. U4c2a from Sweden, Olsund, Corded Ware culture :). He was an R1a-bearing male.

My maternal grandfather's lineage was U4b3, unfortunately I have no info as to where in Europe they came from, the lineage was I presume Spanish or at the very least Canary Islander, but still, no record of U4b3 in the ancient DNA yet.
