Among 1204 Sardinian males from Francalacci et al. 2013, there were 2 with U106.

Those two are listed by YFull, one was under DF98, the other one under Y10968:

What kind of people do you think could carry those lineages to Sardinia, and when?

This is pretty much one of the Germanic tribes I can think of that could have brought R-U106 to Sardinia. Could the Normans have brought it during their travels in the Mediterranean?

2 or 1200 is practically zero. Could've been a northern Italian that moved there recently. Not everything has to be put into a mass migration event.

My apparent matches are pretty much spread across Europe, the UK, Scandinavia, France, Eastern Europe, as well as central Europe of course, even into Russia. I'm U106 Z326.
I think S11136 was first found in a Tuscan man. I have a couple of 12 marker matches in Italy, one near Rome and another in Saponara, Messina but that would be a long time ago.
I have thought Z326 and it's wide distribution could be associated with the Lombards but then again it could fit into virtually any period in Italian history I guess from the Roman Empire, the Germanic tribes or the Normans. John
