At the turns of the 20th and 21st centuries, there were slightly over 6 billion humans in the world.
Thus there were ca. 3,000,000,000 males. How many of them carried each of Y-DNA haplogroups?

Any ideas, in terms of percentages and in terms of absolute numbers ???
This thread is intended as a global Y-DNA census (we can also discuss historical and prehistoric Y-DNA demographics).
For example - how numerous (relative to the total number of humans) was each haplogroup in 1500 AD, 3000 BC, etc.
