I saw on a DNA list in January 2016, the following were the list of SNPs in the FTDNA DF 27 pack.....

Includes the following SNPs that are NOT on the haplotree:
Z296, ZZ12_2, FGC8127, M225, Z2552, BY3289, S400, A6137

Now I am particularly interested in the bottom line which says Z2552 is included, but not on the Haplotree. In fact it's place has been shown on various haplotrees for years, and is below DF27, but above L617, DF81, YP4295, and Z2552*. FTDNA don't yet show it on their haplotree, which is a pity.

Recently I have been in contact with persons who seem to have tested the DF27 panel, who have negative results for all SNPs below Z2552, but seemingly no results for Z2552.

Has anyone who as tested the FTDNA DF27 panel since January been getting results for Z2552? Is Z2552 still in this panel? If some people are not getting results for this SNP, could it be one of those tricky ones to test?

Recently my son did the DF27 pack test. Z2552 was one of the eleven No Call results he received.
I don't see Z2552 listed now. It looks like they removed Z2552 from the test as one of the problem SNPs they seem to be having.
I know for sure they removed A6104 from test.

Thanks for your reply. I just checked the DF27 project results page. There are a number of DF27 results showing, so they may have been testing it for a while at least. I hope they still include it in the test, as it is an as yet poorly explored SNP, and it might have a lot to teach us if more widely tested.

Within the DF27 project I see 67 test results for Z2552 of which none were positive.
With the FTDNA's pack test results now the SNPs that post with No Calls will show as negative results in the project pages. A No Call could be positive so now I take those SNP results within the projects with a grain of salt.
I've been seeing SNP's that are showing negative that make no sense.
