Hi All,
My haplotree (and presumably many others) at FTDNA shows a weird "clade" ( CTS623 ) in between R-P297 and R-M269. I tested negative for CTS623 and the other six SNPs associated with it).
However, ISOGG shows CTS623 as being part of R-M269. I assume CTS623 is therefore actually a subclade WITHIN R-M269. If so, why does the FTDNA haplotree show CTS623 just OUTSIDE of R-M269 ? I assume this weird branching also appears on the FTDNA haplotrees of others who are part of R-M269.

I have the same, which is odd, and in addition the terminal SNP of BY4672+ downstream from L238- which shouldn't be possible.

I just noticed this as well and found your thread. Same situation with my kit.
