Part of the fun of DNA testing is interacting with those folks who match and trying to determine how they are related. After communicating with these relatives and identifying the chromosome chunks that we share, I want a chromosome chart with all the segments of each chromosome broken out in a way that I can go into it and record the family origins of the segments that I have identified. My guess is that if I have thought of this, then someone else quicker on the uptake than I has probably already come up with this idea and come up with a snazzy chart that does what I want it to do.

If you have done this already, would you be willing to share?

Kinda. I guess I'm wanting something like what you get on GEDMATCH on the chromosome painting or the 23andMe result page with each chromosome laid out in a row with numbered measurements so I can be accurate. Each chromosome should be split in half into paternal and maternal sides.

Thanks, AJL...this looks like what I want. I just have to figure out how to use it.
