Keep in mind this is better described as the R1b-U152 top-layer and misc. subclades SNP Pack.

The L2 subclades have their own packs as does Z43 (& Z56), and apparently Z36 and Z192 (will). If you are R-U152 and that's all you know, this pack works well as there are bridge pointers to these other SNP Packs as well as thorough testing of the "misc." or other subclades.

I asked Yseq about PF4363 inclusion on the U152 pack

"PF4363 is not in our R1b-U152 panel because it's in a region that's 98.5% identical to the X chromosome. According to the ISOGG tree PF4363 is supposed to be phylo-equivalent to CTS7193.2, which we have available: https://www.yseq.net/product_info.php? products_id=2873 However this SNP was also observed in haplogroup J2, so it may-or may not be reliable. The region around PF4363 and the sequencing traces look clean and reliable though."

I have emailed Yseq and asked "So what is the best way to include an snp around PF4363 on the pack or is this not possible?"



Is PF4363 in yseq's U152 pack? I looked but couldn't find it, unless it has another name :(

If I am not mistaken this is a Kipling / Clarkson SNP found in a WTY-test, so this could be a private / family SNP.

As far as I know there are no Big-Y results in this group. Richard Clarkson used to be in contact with the U152 Facebook group, I remember he wasn't happy with the guys at Semargl posting FTDNA results on their website. I think he may have removed his results from the U152 project.

As far as I know there are no Big-Y results in this group. Richard Clarkson used to be in contact with the U152 Facebook group, I remember he wasn't happy with the guys at Semargl posting FTDNA results on their website. I think he may have removed his results from the U152 project.
