I manage to collect over 450 mtDNA from all of ex-Yugoslavia region, and just over 200 of them are Serbian.

10306

Most of J is actually J1c and U5 is almost equally divided on U5a and U5b.

MtDNA H group have the biggest percentage, of course, and it's divided like this.

Problem is solved I hope.

Since I am myself T2, noticed the lower than average percentage of haplogroup T among Serbs. According to Eupedia there is something of a blank spot for haplogroups T1 and T2 in the Western Balkans. I thought it may be because the small Serb sample(139) used there, but with 418 is even less. Almost the same is among Bosnians and Croats.
Wasn't T1 especially connected to Indoeuropean and Slavic expansion? It has some correlation with male R1a.

In ex-Yugoslavia region, including all Slavic ethnicities, T is 6% with 3.4% for T2 branch. Bosnia and Herzegovina seems to be a leader.
Among Serbs: 39% is T1 and the rest is T2.

I think there is no BIGY or YSEQ for serbian M458. They are all L1029 so far except for one sample (Kosovo and Metohija) who is A11460.
J2a is typical hg for Pješivci tribe in Montenegro - M92. There is L26 from Montenegro, one M410 from Western Bosnia (Bosanska Krajina) and one from Vojvodina L26>SK1336(xFGC21360).
About R1B SNPs - U152 indluding L2, BY611, and without deeper subclade L23, P312. Also registered M269>PF7562 but U106 not many. R1b U152 is typicall for Moračani tribe.

i1 is mostly P109 (some of them tested as FGC22054+). Majority of them is coming from Drobnjak Novljani tribe.
Z63 doesn't have so much percentage but with more subclades: V68 Macura tribe, in north-east Serbia S2077* and few L1237 (Montenegro, Šumadija).
There is small amount of I1-M227 and just 3 samples Z58.

Yes so far there are 7 confirmed members of the Pjesivci tribe that have had their Y-DNA tested and all 7 of them are J2a M92. All of them except for possibly one of them descend from a common ancestor likely 500-700 years ago or so from the looks of their haplotypes. At some point I am hoping to have a few of them tested with BigY. I funded the tests for 6 of them. :)

Wow, nice job! Super interesting. Where did you get the data from? Are you able to share the raw data somehow?

Ljubotinj tribe (Sarapi and Drecun brotherhoods to be precise) is probably R1b-U106. We have one Vuckovic from 23andMe from Montenegro, and he's R-M405/U106.
He's probably from Ljubotinj because we have Drecun and Karadlagic (62, 63) (http://dnk.poreklo.rs/tabela-pojedinacne-grupe/?grp-filter=R1b&lang=lat) from Ljubotinj tribe and their str values can easy pass among R1b-U106 haplotypes. (https://www.familytreedna.com/public/U106?iframe=yresults)

There are also a few Y-DNA haplogroup J2a M92 samples from the Cuce tribe of Montenegro and two J2a Z6065 samples both from the Vukosavovic bratstvo of the Sotonici tribe from southern Montenegro.
