My friend is from this haplogroup and wants to know more about it...her dad`s side is Syrian but claim ghassanid roots...does this haplogroup have a cluster in yemen or is it native to the levant..any information will be helpful please..thank you

It's definitely not unheard of in Yemen (or Arabia in general) - but its diversity and frequency both peak in the Levant, specifically the southern Levant.

I don't know. There's a lot of active discussion of that stuff on a microscopic level at this forum -- http://community.haplozone.net/index.php?board=20.0. In my limited explorations, I've never heard of any single E-M84 cluster that was concentrated in Yemen.
