Passa designed this as well, I am posting it with permission and giving credit to its originator.

This may help explain the genetic situation of southern Calabria, northeast and east-central Sicily, and the area around Palermo.

Interesting is that these haplogroups seem quite diffused throughout Italy, though, not just in the south.

The high occurrence of J2 in the north is quite interesting...Alpine area?
