Unusual O-M95 from Ryazan

Kit #395303 from FTDNA is O1b1a1a1a2a-F1252, which is one of subclades of O1b1a1a-M95. He is of ethnic Russian origin with ancestry from the region of Ryazan at least since 1922 and probably for many centuries. He has no any recent or known "exotic" ancestry:

However, O-F1252 is most common among the Dai people in Xishuangbanna province of China:

How could this lineage reach the area of Ryazan prior to 1922 - and possibly much earlier ???

YFull lists him as O-F1252* (https://www.yfull.com/tree/O-F1252/) , unlike any of the academic samples from China, Vietnam, and Japan (which belong to the primary subclade, O-F2924). Thus, his lineage diverged from theirs over 10,000 years ago.

O2a shows up, albeit rarely, among Turko-Mongolic Central Asians. It is also found among ethnic Russians of Xinjiang.

Ryazan is south east of Moscow. It was exposed to regular raids of the nomads between 13th-15th centuries.

Most Russians of Xinjiang were settlers of Kazakhstan. Peasants of Ukraine and Russia were settled in northern Kazakhstan as part of Stolypin agrilcutlural program in the beginning of 1900s. In late 1920s many escaped collectivasation in north-western China. In 1950s some returned back to central Asian republics of USSR, while other settled in Australia, Brazil and Canada. There were some Russian women who married locals in north-western China. Those mixed Russians maybe carrying O2a.
