Have these Paleo DNA samples been tested for R1a1b or are they just R1a-M459*?
The TMRCA for YP1272 (R1a1b) has been recently estimated by Yfull as 7300 bpy, around the same time as these two above paleo DNA samples.

These DNA samples have not been tested for R1a1b

Apart from the Serteya sample, they were SNP capture or shotgun sequences, if I recall correctly.
So they actually are negative for downstream clades yet seen in modern or later ancient samples , unless they weren't "looked for".
