Hello,

This is my first post here let me know if I break any rules here or post to the wrong place. I am currently doing my family tree and having trouble with my mothers side so I took a DNA test to help narrow down my search. My fathers side was easy they came from France to Nova Scotia then moved to Lousianna. However my mothers is from Puerto Rico so there are not enough records for me to trace back where they came from. These are my World9 results:

Population
Amerindian 2.57
East_Asian 0.30
African 3.11
Atlantic_Baltic 58.76
Australasian 1.14
Siberian 0.34
Caucasus_Gedrosia 11.95
Southern 21.83
South_Asian -

Mixed Mode Population Sharing:

1) 84.9% French (Dodecad) + 15.1% Yemenese (Behar) @ 3.14

2) 76.1% Cornwall (1000 Genomes) + 23.9% Egyptans (Behar) @ 3.21

3) 75.9% Kent (1000 Genomes) + 24.1% Egyptans (Behar) @ 3.27

Thank you in advance for any help!

Welcome to Anthrogenica.
Your Puerto Rican pulls your results south (of France), due to African & Spanish admixture. Your results are pulled SE, like in the vicinity of northern Italy. (using 2 & 3.) [This later pull may be from your American Indian score, pulling you to Asia]

Thank you I actually forgot I traced one of my ancestors to the Canary Islands so the results kind of make sense.
