I received my Y Haplogroup from FTDNA as R-Z329 and cannot find its origins. Any help would be much appreciated...

If you have not already done so, you should transfer your Geno results to FTDNA and join the R-U106 Haplogroup Project https://www.familytreedna.com/public/U106. You should also join our discussion group by sending an email to: [email protected]

Z329 is one of several SNPs which make up the Z326 clade. This clade is believed to have its origins around 1200 BC and appears fairly widespread on the European Continent as well as appearing in England (and possible other countries in the "British" Isles).
