This haplotype is also found elsewhere in Eurasia and you can try checking if you have it from 23andMe raw data, these two SNP's are indicators:
rs12030972 AA
rs12026409 AA

These have the exact same frequencies as the archaic allele for rs2298080, marker for the introgressed "Denisovan-Inuit" haplotype, so if someone has them it's a sign of having that too.
Frequency in all 1000genomes Europeans (CEU, FIN, GBR, IBS, TSI) is about 20%, in 1000genomes East Asians it's 50%, higher in Central Asians, Siberians and Native Americans. In various South Asians it should be even lower than Europeans.

IMO, that phrasing sounds quite racist. Why not "Inuits were able to adapt to the cold due to genes from Denisovans"? The way it is now makes it seem like "these are the tribes went who and slept with primitive hominids".

What about this sounds so "racist" to you exactly?

The title of the thread/article? Again how does that sound racist?

Because sex sells. Here look at all the innuendos in this one. http://www.nature.com/news/evidence-mounts-for-interbreeding-bonanza-in-ancient-human-species-1.19394

Or here is this one about modern humans and Neanderthals in Europe.

A is the archaic allele?

A is the archaic allele?

It's an indicator, and looks like AA is a better indicator of having it than just one A.
