How can i trace my Indian and Near Eastern ancestors through evidential paper trail?

So far I have traced all my ancestry back as far as possible except for my Near Eastern and Indian ancestors. Is there a way to track their names or records down for evidential proof? I researched their names on the Kenyan Gazette online but its more of a legal, political newspaper.
