The Opening of a "Time Capsule" Package (1910s) from Small Town of Sel in Norway (http://www.vgtv.no/#!id=55584)

This video is mainly in Norwegian with some minimal English translation. The English language news articles leading up to the opening indicate that they thought it was put together in 1912 and clearly intended for opening in 2012. They also indicate that the mayor who put it together gave it to the town in the late 1920s (it seems from the video he was slipping things in after 1912). At any rate, it is interesting to see what was considered important a hundred years ago (and led me to some reflections on the importance of paper then versus electronic media now). If anyone with appropriate language ability would care to elaborate on what the actual documents included were, it would be appreciated.

http://www.thelocal.se/43820/20121015/

Ales stenar (Ale's Stones) have aroused quite the controversy in recent years, both on subjects directed at it and subjects directed at how science is to be objective and who's got the majority word regarding archaeological interpretation. In short it's the Swedish National Heritage Board vs homeopathic and author Bob Lind that's been fighting over who's information sign is the most ghetto.
