A little interesting. Scandinavian dropped from 5.5 to 0 for her. German/French increased from 2.9 (me) to 3.8. Eastern European decreased from 32 (me) to 10. And she showed .7 Ashkenazi. Her mom is Filipino. My guess is noise or Magellan had a Jewish crew-member or two who snuck out for a little R&R.

Big changes after phasing (is that the right word?). Our Eastern European and my Great Britain percentages increases substantially. Her Ashkenazi disappeared.

How does she have 6% more French/German than me considering her mom's 100% Asian ancestry?

French/German is likely hidden in your broadly north west Europe.

On the LivingDNA forums, they have noted that DNA from East Anglia in England and German are difficult to discern from one another.

Thanks. I had a genealogist reach out to me on behalf of my highest FTDNA match. He's of Prussian/German background going back to Colonial American times. Our best guess is a match at his grandparents/my great grandparents. I suspect my daughter's percentage is more accurate, although I do understand the problems with French/German recall rates.
