O'Sheas who are R-L513+ who have Big Y tested, are positive for BY402-BY408. I read on another message that BY404 was considered flaky. I just came across an O'Graddy who is BY404+ and BY402-. I was wondering if anyone else had come across this and how significant it is. The O'Graddy is close enough ySTR wise to the O'Sheas to be connected prior to surname formation c. 1000 years ago. I note that DYS650=16 for O'Sheas and DYS650=17 for O'Graddy.

I think his BY404 call is legitimate. O'Graddy is positive for all 8 SNPs just upstream in the Z16372 block. The STRs all line up and you have a good eye to notice the DYS650 difference.

We have the 440208 Graddy in the R-L513 project. It would be great to get these others who I only see on the WorldFamilies project right now.
