    D5a2 according to MtDNA FUll sequnce. What next?

    Hello, my MtDNA Full sequence results indicate I am D5a2. I thought this was the deepest I could get, but apparently there are D5a2a and D5a2b. How can I test for these and much more?
    And FTDNA's migration map does not have any information regarding migratory route, origins etc for D5a2, let alone D5a2a and D5a2b. How can I find out more?

    If you have already MtDNA Full, you can't test anything more. Probably your branch is not discovered, yet, as generally at least 2 people are needed to form a new branch.
    According to the latest Phylotree, D5a2 is defined by this full genome, taken from a publications about Indian mtDNA:

    Here is also another study, which claims D5a2 is in South Siberia, East Asia and India, however it is from 2010, so probably older classification:
