I want a GEDmatch kit of someone from this region (they were Slavic-speaking as late as 1750-1800):

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendland

    http://koszalin7.pl/st/pom/pomorze_101.html

    Edit:

585 people in Kreis Lüchow declared themselves as Slavic-speakers even as late as 1890 census:

    https://archive.org/stream/archivfrs...e/318/mode/2up

Any descendants of Slovincians on GEDmatch?:

    Germanization of Slovincians:

    Example:

Lutheran parish Główczyce (Główczëce/Glowitz), 28 km from Słupsk (Słëpsk/Stolp):

    Year (total population) - Polish/Kashubian-speakers (%), German-speakers (%):

    1829 (population: 4848) - 3297 Polish-speakers* (68%), 1551 German-speakers (32%)
    1850 (population: 5122) - 1370 Polish-speakers* (27%), 3752 German-speakers (73%)
    1879 (population: 5381) - 125 Polish & Kashubian (2%), 5256 German-speakers (98%)

*In 1829 and 1850 there was no "Kashubian" category (it was counted as Polish).
