    Further to the IT_Bolzano results.

    I had my father's done

This is from thread at Apricity.

What is in Proto-Germanic cluster has very high North Dutch, but when you look at components there have very high North-Sea -40-50%, not seen among modern people. But it was encountered among Baiuvarii or Longobards if you remember my PCA with them.

I find this highly interesting. With reference to https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...35#post5718035 quoted comments above and my father's results.

Just received my chromosome analysis from Lukasz. Apparently I'm quite British/Irish as per chromosomes on the PCA but have some minor "exotic" for my ancestry with one Slavic, one North Italian and one Iberian.

Her are two reports from Lukasz, my mother and also me.

My mother's known ancestry is from; West/Central Germany, Prussia, Tyrol, and her Great-Grandmother was English/Irish. I also suspect that one other line had British admix. I think her report represents all of this very well. The surprises: 3 chromo's show distinct Italian influence, 2 show Balkan influence, and 1 Iberian.

As far as my report well, my dad is all Magyar for as far back as I can trace. You can see the influence this has as my English/Irish ancestry almost disappears from the PCA and multiple heavily north Slavic chromosomes appear which are completely absent in my mom's report. Please let me know any and all thoughts you have or anything you see of interest. Thank you!

The Tirol stands out for both of you especially your mother. I wonder whether that also explains a fair amount of Bolzano. Those places aren't too far apart.

Thanks . I meant they are near to each other. Innsbruck to Bolzano 76 miles. Lienz to Bolzano 91 miles.

I have a feeling that such separate mapping of every chromosome is pure randomness.
