Big Y Results - Inferring Most Recently Shared SNP/Haplogroup before Yfull submission

In the next 2 weeks, while awaiting my BAM file for Yfull submission, I'd like to know the following:

Is there logic in assuming one belongs within a subclade if they've tested positive for a terminal SNP and/or SNPs within?

Example) Is it fair to assume I'm within subclade A-V1559 since I've tested positive for the SNPs underlined in red: SK241, V3602, FGC39997 -- along with testing positive for 31/40 of the +40SNPs:

Furthermore, would it be a stretch to assume I'm within subclade A-Y25085 considering the following:

I don't match the terminal SNP nor any of the SNPs displayed but I tested positive for these 3 SNPs (Y26831, Y26839, Y26843) which are intermittently between the +10SNPs in dark grey.

    A-M13 YTree link

Thanks in advance for any clarity,

You are either within A-V1559, or you will force a split in that level. If the latter, you will be (what I like to call) an early offshoot.

Those three are at the A-V1559 level.

You will not know your "TERMINAL" snp unless you order the appearance of all of your singletons. Change the topic to reference your most recently shared SNP/haplogroup.

    Thanks a million Larry!

Would the same logic apply when referring to fellow A-M13 SNP tested members on FTDNA's Y-Haplotree:

Example) These Boyds were SNP tested A-BY16209 to A-BY16276, and a kit from Egypt further up the branch was tested PH1043. I wasn't able to find PH1043 nor any of the Boyd's SNPs on the Ytree but found SNP PH856 was their most recently shared SNP/haplogroup at A-PH804 (shown below with *PH856 circled in red )

Could this be used to affirm their subclade has a formed date of A-PH804's "10500 ybp, TMRCA 8700 ybp"?

I'm not sure if it can be done but I've pm'd a moderator to see if the thread's title can be changed accordingly. thanks for the call out

    - I thought I'd post the results, thanks lgmayka
