    Some DNA tribes info

I sent both my AncestryDNA file and a few days later my 23&me file thinking there would be some difference. There was none at all. So I wanted to provide that insight so others would not waste extra money doing so. That being said I felt this was the best test I have done.

Totally agree. I sent my data, and my moms to dna tribes, and within 24 hours I had my results. Imo they are the most accurate, and the best value.

It's not really about me. My results are still quite accurate (although it gave me Czech and Slovak before Polish - but at least they are similar populations). However, CrazyDaisy (who is Ecuadorian and has confirmed Spanish, including Galician and Basque, ancestry) got 0% Iberian in DNA Tribes:

K36 Oracle correctly gives her Spanish Galician as the main / most similar population.

But DNA Tribes still correctly identified Ecuador as her recent ancestral population.

As for my results, here is a comparison between DNA Tribes and Tolan's K36 tool:

    1) DNA Tribes (top 40 populations in Europe):

    2) Tolan's K36 tool (over 50% similarity rate):

According to DNA Tribes, most of their Polish samples are Eastern Poles. And this is why I didn't get Polish as my top match. Eastern Poles are indeed less North-Western genetically than Western Poles. This can also be seen in Tolan's K36 tool when I use Function B and exclude an eastern Polish population:

    3) Tolan's K36 (Function B, minus east Poles):

I thought she got some good responses regarding that matter.

My nickname there is Litvin so these are my responses, but I'm still quite confused.

I just tried to make sense of that.

But it correctly identified her Basque ancestry. And she has some German ancestry.
