    On the one hand, I'm not sure how bright this person is, it must have cost alot of money and effort to get a PHD in a science. On the other hand, getting trapped for life in something you do not want to do is obviously a bad thing
    ... I sort of think it must be an IQ vs EQ sort of thing.
    She had a lot of guts though and good for her, she seems happy and content with how it all worked out...

    This geophysicist ditched her PhD to turn her passion for paper folding into a career

    probably a good lesson to us all, dont get trapped in something you hate, find something that is rewarding in some way...I cant say I love my job, but I do find it very rewarding so no paper airplanes for me...till I retire anyway
