-All the Iranian and Kurdish samples I have seen have 0-5% Tajik.
    (including lupus82, Zoran, saba123's results).

-but my south-central-asian + tajik percentages are higher than the a pashtun sample (pashtun: 17.3% tajik + SC Asian 22% ---- me: 26.3% tajik + 17.2% SC asian)
Even VelvetNono who is real 1/4 tajik and 3/4 pashtun has 23,8% Tajik. less than my 26,3%

    - Another thing I have wondered: The E European % and S European % seem to be very diverse among Kurds according to the K29 calculator. I noticed most Kurdish and Iranian results have a "Sicilian" %'s on your calculator and these same samples get "Mediterranean islander" or/and "Ashkenazi" on DNA.land results.
But there is that iraqi kurdish sample who gets South Slavic. I get instead 12,4% "Greek Albanian" on your calculator and similarly "10%" balkan on DNA.land and almost nothing "Sicilian" or "Mediterranean islander/Ashkenazi". How can this be interpreted?

Here are a couple of points to keep in mind that should help you understand what you are seeing:

1- The problem is that everyone is used to seeing the relatively uniform intra-population results from ADMIXTURE based calculators from Gedmatch and elsewhere. The reality is that those calculators artificially minimize variation between members of ethnic groups by clustering based on a FEW shared SNPs, and largely ignore their differences. The K12 and K29 just like DSTATS and IBS take into account these differences, so you get a MORE ACCURATE picture of the diversity between individuals of ethnic groups such as Kurds.

2- You and Feyli Kurds have a little more of the Iran N type substrate than Kurds Iraq K1, K2, K3 (Kurmanjis from the Dohuk and surrounding area), thus your higher Iran N in the K12 which correlates to your slightly higher (Tajik+SC Asian). They (Kurds K1, K2, and K3) have higher Turkic (Turkmen perhaps) than you, thus they score Bashkir and Turkmen in the K29 and higher Karasuk in the K12 than you.

3- With regards to Kurd K3 scoring 10% S Slavik, this may be shared steppe ancestry. FYI, Kurd K3 consistently on all Dstat and IBS runs scores very high Scythian IA I0247, on about the same level as Tatars. With regards to European scores in general, there is a gradient of Mediteranean and Balkan among Kurds rising as you go from Iraq into Turkey.

4- The K12, K29, Dstats, IBS show more ancient relationships between populations than Gedmatch based calculators or results from commercial companies.

    dear kurd,
do you think that living dna results
should be less reliable than ftdna results because the former use imputation
i would like to hear your thought as expert ?
because i sent my kit yesterday and it is only a matter of 2 months{if things goes well}till i will get results
    another thing
in living dna there is some modes which present results :
complete, standard, cautious, do you think i can trust the cautious mode even though living dna use imputation

    with kind regards

I tend to doubt that Christian Palestinians from Jerusalem/Bethlehem have 6-9% East Eurasian ancestry (assuming German/Irish have 0-1% EE, this is what your algorithm is implying)... from what source?

Especially considering that the Judean Hills Christian communities seem more isolated and less impacted by post-Bronze Age population movements than, say, Christians from Galilee or the Haifa coast. Nearly all Bethlehem area males are y-dna G1 or basal clades of J1 not connected with the Islamic expansions: https://anthrogenica.com/showthread....ight=bethlehem. I doubt even Muslim Palestinians have more than 2-3% EE ancestry...

It's fairly well known that Munda have significant Iran_N/Chl ancestry, dating in all likelihood no later than the fall of the Harappan Civ. I'm not sure how your model is controlling for this... once aDNA samples from South Asia are substituted for moderns I have a feeling this result changes.

Hello Kurd want to ask how the K12 ancient calculator Yamanja - and Poltavka Culture are the same because
Yamanja is for the early Indo-European Culture but Poltavka for the Indo-Iranian Culture? I guess you work from everyone here, it's normal to ask questions. Because then I also had the case where my dad first Caucasian (K25 Calculator) and the update (K29 Calculator) I.
