    L23+ L51- Z2103- people ?

Are there many of these folks out there? I guess I should look at the tree.

I just sent a person over to the Basal Subclades project. Ignore the hg label R-A2368. It's a recurrent SNP apparently.

    L23+
    M12149+
    L51-
    no call at Z2103

    Interesting location - SW Asia.

Thank you Mike. Big Y, 111 STRs and possibly breaking up a block of 10 SNPs makes for a good day.

He is Z2105+. There is nothing more about specific ethnicity. Will be contacting for BAM file. Hopefully will get a geographic pinpoint too. Southwest Asia has been very fruitful this year.

OK, but if I understand correctly, since he is Z2105+M12149+ and has a no call at Z2103, he is more than likely Z2103+ as well, correct?

You are correct sir. This will take BAM file analysis from smal. There's a block of 10 SNPs at the Z2103 level to check. Then against all of the downstream possibilities.
