Does WeGene give you a terminal SNP? Or atleast a rough placement? Example being I-M438, or I-M223, etc?

EDIT: Ok I see where I2a2a1b fits in the phylogenetic tree. This would be I2-L701, downstream of I2-CTS616.

This does seem rather odd considering your known heritage... This is worth investigation and perhaps testing with a different company.

I extracted a yDNA prediction from AncestryDNA and I was predicted as I1a. WeGene prediction was I2a, which turned out to be the more accurate one after I had my 23andMe result which determined my subclade as I2-L233, or I2a1c.

I don't know if this is typical for predictions, but this is what happened in my case.

Try testing for M438 with YSEQ (https://www.yseq.net/product_info.php?products_id=3550). It costs $18 for the SNP and $6 as a one-off shipping fee. It's the cheapest way of determining if you're I2 or not.

I2-L704 was found in two ancient Indo-Aryan samples from North Pakistan, so we know that Indo-Iranians carried unknown, but probably small numbers of I2. Of course, I don't know if your result is true though.

Did you test with WeGene or did you upload results from another company to them?

Sister branches are found on Sardenia and other Mediterrenean.

The S12195 branch doesn't look like it's connected to early Indo-Aryans. But who knows, it's anyway very interesting to see what is his branch exactly.

What does this numbers mean? They do not sum up to 100%.
Do the tests give you 30% European?

Do not pay too much attention to such descriptions. They are always written about most common cases and will not mention rare happlogroups like yours.
