It seems that after batches submitted around March 2018 have been delivered late 2018 , none others reported that I have seen who have submitted after that date recieved that I know of with the exception of bloggers etc...

WGS kit ordered from Amazon: 17 Jul 2018
FedEx shipping label received from Dante for kit that arrived with no label: 30 Jul 2018
Kit delivered by Fedex: 1 Aug 2018
Email request to receive BAM aligned to hg38: 1 Aug 2018
    Email response confirming hg38: 2 Aug 2018
Kit "received" by Dante: 7 Aug 2018
Successful DNA extraction reported: 27 Aug 2018
Sent web request for status update and BAM delivery by hard drive: 9 Dec 2018
Email response confirming HDD will be shipped and sample in sequencing stage: 19 Dec 2018

Nothing since. No blogger rush service for me, but I'm only a very minor one at that (Veritas' first $999 PGP-WGS customer). I wonder if those experiencing delays have also requested hg38 results like I did with this kit (not my DNA this time so I cannot compare it against my Veritas data).

I ordered direct the same day you placed yours and had my sample back by 25.7. QA passed 27.8. All I've had since then is one reply with words to the effect that sometimes it has to be run more than once blah blah. I haven't placed an order for the disk results yet.

Sounds like we hit the same QA batch, at least.

"...some of these steps must be repeated several times..." sounds like I got the same blah blah as you did, too.

Here was their reply to my inquiry after I had waited half a year: "Thanks For your message. Your sample is undergoing the sequencing process. This is a long and complex process, composed of several steps: sometimes, some of these steps must be repeated several times to obtain the highest possible quality for the genomic data. This can cause delays, but allows us to guarantee the best possible results. Please, let me know if you have any questions. Best regards, Lula"

...and that was TWO MONTHS AGO !!!

Is this starting to sound familiar ???

In round numbers, yes approximately. Previous inquiry was late November 2018...

The CEO posted this a few days ago 'elsewhere'

"Hello, this is Andrea from Dante Labs. I understand you are upset about our delays, and rightly so. Any claim that we are a fraud is false and has no basis whatsoever. We are working hard to make sure people can access advanced genomics at affordable prices, instead of thousands of dollars. We have experienced issues, especially delays, but we have worked with every single user on solving issues, especially delays, providing customized reports free of charge. We won’t abandon anyone."

People are so impatient these days. I remember when it took FTDNA 10 months just to run a single SNP test for DF13 to completion. That's a much less complex procedure than sampling the full 3,099,734,149 bases on the human genome.
